I’m Dr. Emily Gidcumb, an Associate Veterinarian at Park Veterinary Hospital! I’m a full-time veterinarian and see wellness and sick appointments, drop-offs, and perform surgical procedures. My favorite area of veterinary medicine is internal medicine, and I love getting to know my patients and helping them live happy, healthy lives.

I graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. After veterinary school, I completed an internship at Virginia Tech followed by a one-year residency at Michigan State University. I then spent several years practicing general medicine in Utah before joining the Park Veterinary Hospital team.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors, reading, and finding a great cup of coffee. I’m excited to be part of the Park Veterinary Hospital team and look forward to caring for you and your pets!
