Dr. Crossno originally hails from Clarksville, Tennessee. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a major in Biology. She then attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University’s Veterinary School in 2018; while also serving in the Oklahoma National Guard as a CBRN specialist. After graduation, she was commissioned as a veterinary officer in the US ARMY, and was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas for four years, where she performed food inspection and provided medical care for military working dogs, cavalry horses, and the servicemembers’ pets. She left the service in 2021, and moved to North Carolina where she has been since. She enjoys the variety of general practice, with fear-free practice and behavioral medicine being her current interests. Dr. Crossno and her husband have many pets- two dogs, three cats, six reptiles, many fish, several chickens, and two geese. They enjoy spending their time exploring the wilds of North Carolina, creating artwork, and playing video and tabletop roleplaying games.
