There are few careers where your work day can be brightened by the kiss from a puppy or the purr of a kitty. Providing animals with the highest quality care is the reason I became a veterinarian. Every day is an opportunity to help, whether it is preventively through vaccination and wellness blood work screenings or in disease management through the use of pharmaceuticals and diagnostic testing.
I am a 2006 graduate of North Carolina State Veterinary School. A native of North Carolina, I have been practicing in both general practice and physical rehabilitation. As a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee, my primary passion is to provide personalized care for pets with special emphasis on maximizing mobility, function, and fitness. I also have an interest in preventive care and chronic disease management. I am currently pursuing certification in medical acupuncture.
I share my life with my husband, son, and a “mature” boxer.
