My aspiration to be a veterinarian who provides top-notch care for both pets and their parents is more than 30 years in the making! In those three decades, I have found that the best way to ensure that pets are healthy, happy, and pain-free is to foster effective communication between the veterinary staff and pet owners, so my goal is to always be honest, direct, and compassionate.
I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Texas A&M University, and prior to moving to Raleigh in 2001, I worked with both large and small animals in College Station, TX; New Orleans, LA; and Richmond, VA. I have a special interest in geriatric medicine, dentistry, and pain management.
When not at Park, I am an avid tennis player and football fan. I also love to travel with my husband and our two children. Our Jack Russell Terrier, Rosie, has also been a valuable member of our pack for the last 12 years. We are still looking for good names for our fish.
