Being a veterinarian is rewarding in so many ways. From first-time pet owners to pets with recent illnesses, being able to treat and manage animals through all stages of their lives is a true joy. I enjoy the challenge of determining the cause of a patient not feeling well, as well as the joy in seeing how patients grow and flourish with their owners’ care. I look forward to treating you and your furry family members.
I grew up in upstate New York and Michigan and followed my family south to warmer weather. I completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from NC State and pursued an additional year of specialized training at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Hospital. Prior to joining Park vet, I was working in emergency medicine at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas. I have enjoyed living and working in North Carolina and can’t imagine living anywhere else!
When I’m not taking care of my patients, you can find me at home with my husband, running after our now crawling baby boy. I also enjoy hiking with my two dogs, Mowgli (a vizsla) and Luna (a lab pit mix); trying new and different foods; and exploring our favorite places in NC—Asheville and the beach!
