Whether your pet needs routine or emergency surgery, he or she will be carefully monitored in our state-of-the-art surgical suite. Our veterinarians and technicians will track your pet’s vitals, such as his or her blood pressure, temperature, pulse, EKG, and oxygen, respiration, and carbon dioxide levels. Careful monitoring is extremely important because it enables us to ensure that we administer the right amount of anesthesia to maintain your pet’s stability throughout the procedure.

Caring for Your Pet After Surgery

Immediately after the procedure, we will carefully observe your pet to ensure they remain stable and any pain is managed. Once they are ready to return home, we will provide detailed instructions for post-operative care including how to best manage your pet’s pain, any activity restrictions, and how to care for incision sites or bandages. We will remain in close contact with you to answer any questions and ensure that your pet is recovering as he or she should.
